(USA) 1099 software vendor (form)

Click Organization administration > Setup > Organization > Legal entities. Click the Withholding tax FastTab, and then click 1099 software vendor.
Use this form to enter the required information about your 1099 software vendor to file Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 1099 statements electronically or magnetically.
Note
You do not have to fill in this form to file printed 1099 statements. However, the IRS requires companies that have more than a certain number of 1099 statements to file electronically or magnetically. We recommend that you review IRS rule changes for the applicable tax year before you set up and process 1099 statements.
The first time that you open this form, a message is displayed, and you have the option to have your company information automatically displayed in the fields. This is applicable only if you have developed the 1099 software internally. If you have purchased the software from a vendor, click No, and then enter the vendor information manually.
The IRS requires that you enter information in all fields on this form. This includes contact information, except for the Foreign entity indicator check box, which you must select or clear as appropriate.

(USA) This form is available only to legal entities whose primary address is in the United States.
