How to Sign In to Outlook Web App

You can use Outlook Web App to access your e-mail account via a Web browser. The URL (Web address) you’ll use to sign in to Outlook Web App depends on the type of account you have. Outlook Web App can be used to access any e-mail account that's hosted on a server that's running Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.

What URL do I use to sign in to Outlook Web App?

  1. Open your Web browser or, if it's already open, open a new window.

  2. Go to the URL that matches the type of account you have.

    Microsoft Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS)

    Go to URLs for Microsoft Online Services.

    Corporate e-mail account

    On-premises (Microsoft Exchange Server)

    Go to the URL provided by the person who manages your e-mail account. For example, a company named Contoso might use a URL such as https://mail.contoso.com.

    Note

    If you have a Microsoft Office 365 account, you can also access your e-mail through the Office 365 portal. To do this, sign in to your account at the Office 365 portal, and then click Outlook at the top of the page.

    Note

    If you have a Live@edu account, you may also be able to access your e-mail through a customized URL created by the person who manages your e-mail account.

  3. Enter the full e-mail address for your ID.

  4. Enter your password.

  5. Click Sign In.

  6. You can also use the check boxes to have the computer you're using remember your ID and your password. Don't select the check box if you share the computer with other people.
