Resources Abound with the Launch of SharePoint Server 2010 and Office 2010

Following the New York launch event for SharePoint Server 2010 and Office 2010, there are several ways to come up to speed and test these new products. And there’s a lot to see, from deeper integration to new document management and collaboration capabilities.

You can still take part in the virtual launch event. The sessions are available on demand.

On TechNet, the planning and deployment resources have been updated on the Office 2010 TechCenter and SharePoint Server 2010 TechCenter. You can also discuss Office 2010 on TechNet Forums.

To dive deeper into SharePoint Server 2010, check out the Get Started with SharePoint Server 2010 video series and the SharePoint Server 2010 Advanced IT Pro Training. For more specific instruction on SharePoint 2010’s Managed MetaData Service and health and monitoring features, check out these videos:

Looking to deploy Office 2010? Register for the June 1 webcast Office 2010 Deployment where IT Professional Evangelist Kevin Remde and Brian Shiers, Product Manager from the Office team, will address Office 2010 deployment, evaluation of desktop and application configurations, and major deployment methods.

For a full day of learning on both Office 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010, the Launch 2010 Technical Readiness Series offers exploration, in-depth demos, and helps you tackle the infrastructure decisions.

Finally, you can download the virtual machine to evaluate and demonstrate Office 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010.
