Microsoft PC Productivity Applications Protocol Documentation includes protocols that are implemented in Microsoft Office and are used to communicate with Microsoft server software products. Documentation for some of the protocols implemented in Microsoft Office that are used to communicate with Microsoft SharePoint products and technologies may be found in the SharePoint Protocol Documentation set. The extensions specify media control messages for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based systems that send or receive video using Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP).
