Any business contact can be a member of any contact group. In order to send a contact an e-mail marketing item, the contact must be in a contact group.
The ContactGroup type exposes the following members.

The list of contacts that are members of this contact group.
Those contacts who subscribe to your newsletter and select the preference for receipt to their e-mail address, rather than their alternate e-mail address.
The name of the contact group.
