Use the General tab to view the properties of the Exchange ActiveSync virtual directory and to specify an external URL.

  • Server
    This label shows the name of the server.
  • Web site
    This label shows the name of the Web site.
  • SSL Enabled
    This label shows whether Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is configured on the Web site.
  • Modified
    This label shows the last date and time that the server was modified.
  • External URL
    Use this text box to enter the external URL for the server. The external URL is required if the server that is running the Client Access server role is exposed to the Internet. This value is typically set to http://domainname/microsoft-server-activesync.
