  2. In the details pane, select the Web Chaining tab, and then select the applicable Web chaining rule.

  3. On the Tasks tab, click Edit Selected Rule.

  4. On the Action tab, click Redirecting them to a specified upstream server.

  5. Click Allow delegation of basic authentication credentials if the Web server to which the request is redirected can authenticate the client.

Note

For more information about networks in ISA Server, see Network Concepts in ISA Server 2006 at the Microsoft ISA Server TechCenter Web site (https://www.microsoft.com).
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Server Management.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand Array_Name, expand Configuration, and then click Networks.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand Server_Name, expand Configuration, and then click Networks.

Important

If you do not limit access to authenticated users, as in the case when a rule allowing access is applied to All Users, and the published server does not require authentication, unauthenticated requests will be forwarded to the published server even when a delegation method has been selected.
