Tag Properties task pane

The Tag Properties task pane enables you to quickly see all of the set attributes and values of the tag that's currently active in the current web page. The task pane also enables you to modify the set attributes and set new attributes for the current tag.

Tag Properties Task Pane

1. The Show categorized list button organizes the list of properties under categories, such as Attributes and Events.

   The Show alphabetized list button organizes the list of properties into a single alphabetical list.

   The Show set properties on top button organizes the list of properties so that properties that you have set for the current tag appear at the top of the list.

   The Show Tag Properties button opens the Properties dialog box for the current tag, which typically provides the most commonly-used properties but doesn't contain all of properties that the Tag Properties task pane provides.

2. The tag that's currently active in the current web page.

3. When the Show categorized list button and the Show set properties on top button are both selected, properties of the current tag are grouped at the top of each category's list of properties.

4. You can set the value of a property in the box next to the property name. You can type a value or point at the box and then click, when available, the arrow button or ellipses button and select a value.

To show or hide the Tag Properties task pane

• On the Task Panes menu, click Tag Properties.
