AccelerometerReading Structure
[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]
Contains the acceleration and timestamp for an accelerometer reading, indicating the magnitude and direction of forces applied to the device.
Namespace: Microsoft.Devices.Sensors
Assembly: Microsoft.Devices.Sensors (in Microsoft.Devices.Sensors.dll)
Syntax
Public Structure AccelerometerReading _
Implements ISensorReading
public struct AccelerometerReading : ISensorReading
The AccelerometerReading type exposes the following members.
Properties
Name | Description | |
---|---|---|
Acceleration | Gets the acceleration vector of the device, in gravitational units. | |
Timestamp | Gets a timestamp indicating the time at which the accelerometer reading was taken. This can be used to correlate readings across sensors and provide additional input to algorithms that process raw sensor data. |
