Gets or sets the label for the icon button.

Property Value

The label for the icon button.




Exception Condition

The property is null or empty when attempting to add a button to an Application Bar or the property is set to null or empty after the button has been added to an Application Bar.


The string value exceeds the maximum number of characters allowed.


The label appears when the user clicks the ellipsis to open or expand the Application Bar. The text is clipped when it exceeds the available space.

The maximum number of characters for the Text property is 255.
