Delete a single CIM instance from the target namespace.

Syntax

Parameters

  • self [in, optional]
    The provider state data.

  • context [in]
    The request context.

  • nameSpace [in]
    The namespace of the instance to be deleted.

  • className [in]
    The class of the instance to be deleted.

  • instanceName [in]
    Defines the name (keys) of the instance to be deleted.

Return value

This function pointer does not return a value.

Remarks

On completion the implementation must post the result by using the MI_Context_PostResult method. The expected result is one of the following values.

MI_RESULT_ACCESS_DENIED

MI_RESULT_INVALID_CLASS

MI_RESULT_INVALID_NAMESPACE

MI_RESULT_INVALID_PARAMETER
