Note Starting with Windows 10, version 1703, this setting can no longer be used in provisioning packages. For more information on changes to the Windows Provisioning Framework, see Windows Provisioning Framework. This setting may have a Configuration Service Provider (CSP) equivalent that can be used instead. To determine if a CSP for this setting exists, see the description below.
Allow the messaging app to work with the partner-provided MOSA component.
For mobile operators that support a cloud messaging service, OEMs can configure these cloud messaging settings:
- Specify the mobile operator or carrier setting to enable the service.
- Specify the display label for the messaging Settings UI toggle switch.
- Configure the messaging app to work with the partner-written MOSA component.
Note OEMs should only use this customization if requested by the mobile operator. The mobile operator will assist OEMs if more information is needed to properly configure the customization.
To allow the messaging app to work with the partner-provided MOSA component, set MOCloudMessageEnabled
to one of the following values:
