StartPrepinnedTileParentFolderId

Note   Starting with Windows 10, version 1703, this setting can no longer be used in provisioning packages. This setting may have a Configuration Service Provider (CSP) equivalent that can be used instead. To determine if a CSP for this setting exists, see the description below.

 

Use to set the parent folder, if any, of this prepinned tile.

Values

Set the value for StartPrepinnedTileParentFolderId to one of the following values:

Value Description

0 or 'None'

Indicates that the tile is not in a folder. The tile will be prepinned in the main Start screen.

101 or 'Folder 1'

Adds the tile to the first prepinned folder, StartPrepinnedFolder1.

102 or 'Folder 2'

Adds the tile to the second prepinned folder, StartPrepinnedFolder2.
