Gets the locale identifier value (LCID) corresponding to the given RFC1766-conforming name.

Parameters
pLocale [out]
A pointer to the buffer to receive the LCID.bstrRfc1766 [in]
The RFC1766-conforming name for which the caller wants information.
Return value
Returns one of the following values.
| Return code | Description |
|---|---|
| S_OK | Success. |
| S_FALSE | The returned LCID matches only the primary language of the RFC1766-conforming name. |
| E_FAIL | The method cannot get the information from the database or the system. |
| E_INVALIDARG | One or more of the arguments are invalid. |
Remarks
A client uses this method to translate a human-readable locale name to a Windows-defined LCID.
