Description
Determines whether a copy of a user's roaming profile is saved on the computer when the user logs off.
Roaming profiles reside on a network server. But by default, when a user with a roaming profile logs off, the system also saves a copy of the roaming profile on the hard drive of the computer to which the user is logged on, in case the server that stores the roaming profile is unavailable when the user logs on again.
Value |
Meaning |
---|---|

A copy of a user's roaming profile is saved on the hard drive of the computer when the user logs off. |
1 |
Any copies of the user's roaming profile on the computer are deleted when the user logs off. The roaming profile still remains on the server that stores it. This setting conserves disk space on the computer. |
