Stop a record search
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 8 Beta
To stop a record search
On the Action menu, click Stop Loading Records.
A message box will ask, "Are you sure you want to stop downloading the records from the database?"
Click Yes.
Notes
This procedure assumes that both the WINS console and the Display Records dialog box are open.
A record search must be currently operating in order for this procedure to work.
