About Windows Defender
Windows Defender, formerly Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta), will appear as a new Windows product category in WSUS. A new update classification will be available for Windows Defender called “Definition Updates.” Currently, Windows Defender is being released as part of a Vista beta release.
