Viewing NFS mount options and properties

To view NFS mount options using Windows Explorer

  1. Open Windows Explorer: click Start, point to Programs or AllPrograms, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.

  2. Right-click the name of the file or directory, right-click the drive that is assigned to a Network File System (NFS) mount, and then click Properties.

  3. To view the NFS mount options for the drive, click NFS Mount Options.

  4. To view the NFS properties for the mounted directory, click NFS Attributes.

Note

If you are logged on with an account that maps to a UNIX account on the NFS server with appropriate administrative credentials, you can change the UNIX file-mode permissions of the mounted directory when viewing the NFS properties.

To view NFS mount options using the command line

  1. Open a command prompt (this does not need to be an elevated command prompt).

  2. At a command prompt, type the following:

    mount

Note

The mount command without arguments displays all mounted volumes and their options.
To view the complete syntax for this command, at a command prompt, type: mount /?
