As an open protocol, Domain Name System (DNS) is particularly vulnerable to attackers. Successful attacks can be especially disruptive because of the critical role that DNS plays in most networks. For this reason, it is very important that you to take advantage of the enhanced security features provided for the DNS Server role in Windows Server 2008.
