Cache Configuration Page

The Cache Configuration page displays the proxy settings that you can configure for Application Request Routing (ARR).
UI Elements
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
Cache clean-up interval (minutes) |
Specifies the interval, in minutes, at which the cache will check for files that need to be deleted. |
Disk usage high threshold (%) |
Indicates the maximum percentage of configured disk space that can be reached for cached content before files are deleted. |
Disk usage low threshold (%) |
Indicates the percentage of configured disk space that will be reached once files are deleted. |
Byte range segment size (KB) |
Specifies the allowable size of the smaller pieces into which ARR segments requests. By default, the segment size is 256 KB. You should set the allowable size based on the typical size of byte-range requests in your environment. |
Enable compression |
Select this option to compress responses into a format that the servers are capable of handling, such as Gzip. |
Actions Pane Elements
Element Name | Description |

Apply |
Applies and saves the proxy cache settings that you have just entered. |
Cancel |
Disregards the changes that you have made and resets the settings to the previous values. |
