Gets information on a specific field.

GET https://{instance}/{collection}/{project}/_apis/wit/fields/{fieldNameOrRefName}?api-version=4.1

URI Parameters

collection	path	True	string	The name of the Team Foundation Server collection.
fieldNameOrRefName	path	True	string	Field simple name or reference name
instance	path	True	string	TFS server name ({server:port})
project	path		string	Project ID or project name
api-version	query	True	string	Version of the API to use. This should be set to '4.1' to use this version of the api.

Scopes

Name	Description

ReferenceLinks

The class to represent a collection of REST reference links.

links	object	The readonly view of the links. Because Reference links are readonly, we only want to expose them as read only.

Describes a field on a work item and it's properties specific to that work item type.
