URI Parameters

resourceGroupName	path	True	string	The name of the resource group.
subscriptionId	path	True	string	Subscription credentials which uniquely identify Microsoft Azure subscription. The subscription ID forms part of the URI for every service call.
vmScaleSetName	path	True	string	The name of the virtual machine scale set to create or update.
api-version	query	True	string	Client Api Version.

activePlacementGroupId	string	Id of the placement group in which you want future virtual machine instances to be placed. To query placement group Id, please use Virtual Machine Scale Set VMs - Get API. If not provided, the platform will choose one with maximum number of virtual machine instances.
