Use Microsoft Stream (Classic) in Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Stream (Classic) is being retired and replaced by Stream (on SharePoint) and Microsoft Teams live events. It is recommended to start using Stream (on SharePoint) by uploading videos to SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, or OneDrive, and to run your live events through Teams and Viva Engage.
Make it easy for your team to collaborate using video by adding a Microsoft Stream (Classic) channel or video as a tab in Microsoft Teams.
The permissions on the video or channel in Stream (Classic) are respected in Microsoft Teams.
Get a channel or video URL from Microsoft Stream (Classic)
In Stream, select the channel or video URL directly from the address bar or your browser on the channel or video page.
Or, click the Share icon on the desired video, click Share, and copy the URL.
Open Microsoft Teams.
Select the plus icon on the tab bar of your Team channel.
Select the Microsoft Stream tab.
Paste the URL into the direct link section, then click Save.
If you added a channel, select any video in the channel to watch it in the Microsoft Stream (Classic) tab.
