What if a teacher asks me to pay outside of the TakeLessons website?
Please let us know; this should never happen
TakeLessons handles the billing and payments for all lessons through our secure website. As part of our service, our students are protected by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and our teachers are automatically paid for lessons taught.
If a teacher asks you to pay for lessons via cash, check, or another website, please decline and let us know by emailing info@takelessons.com. We'll be happy to follow up with your teacher to resolve the confusion and/or connect you with a new teacher through TakeLessons. Teachers who ask students to pay for their lessons outside of the TakeLessons website are subject to be removed from our platform.
