Forward Forces - Learn about inertia and force with soccer​

This activity offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of STEM and soccer through engaging, unplugged activities. ​

​Whether it is warming up, passing the ball, or sprinting across the field, participants will discover the scientific principles at play. Grab a soccer ball and some pylons to get started! ​

  • Audience: Students ages 9-12 with an interest in soccer, STEM, and interactive learning experiences.

    • Understand basics physics concepts like inertia, force, and acceleration and how they apply to soccer activities.
