As you've seen, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales provides multiple options for data analysis. Whether you use the Advanced Find feature to find specific records, analyze data in Microsoft Excel, or use Microsoft Power BI for more advanced analytical options, the data analysis tools that are available in Microsoft Dynamics 365 can help sales organizations drive critical business decisions.

We looked at several of the main features that Dynamics 365 provides for data analytics. Here are some examples:

  • How to use the Advanced Find feature to find data, based on conditions that exist in the primary record type that you're searching for and, perhaps, related data.

  • The process for saving Advanced Find results as personal views that you can be reused and taken advantage of whenever they're needed.

  • The different options that are available for using Excel to do data analysis. These options include inline editing options and options for exporting data to Excel in different static and dynamic formats.

  • How Dynamics 365 charts are used to provide high-level data analysis options for different record types that are available.

  • How Dynamics 365 dashboards let you group multiple charts, views, and other items in a single location that's easy to consume.

From here, the next steps are to learn more about how Dynamics 365 can use artificial intelligence to help you build relationships with customers, by:

  • Helping to score leads based on criteria that are defined for the organization

  • Recommending people who can facilitate introductions

  • Analyzing the overall health of the relationship that the organization has with a customer.
