For the retail store channels, point of sale registers are used to interact with customers to process sales transactions. These registers must support interaction with hardware, a highly optimized user interface (UI) for the specific channel, printing of receipts, in-store item comparisons, worker permissions, and more.

These requirements are met by using the Dynamics 365 Commerce point of sale (POS) solution.
