Exercise - Associate a user identity

For the exercises in this module, you should use the demo data in the USRT company.

Scenario

You are the System administrator of your organization and you need to ensure that the worker with Personnel number 000001 can activate a Store Commerce device in a store. For this exercise, you can use your own Microsoft Entra ID user account.

  1. In the USRT company, go to Retail and Commerce > Employees > Workers.
  2. In the list of workers, select the worker with the Personnel number of 000001.
  3. In the Commerce tab in the Action Pane, select Associate existing identity.
  4. Make sure that Search using email is selected.
  5. Enter your Microsoft Entra ID user’s email address in the Filter field.
  6. Select Search.
  7. Select your Microsoft Entra ID user.
  8. Select OK.
