As all educators know, school leaders carry a heavy workload. Their tasks and responsibilities range from facilities management and operations, to curriculum and instruction, and everything in between. In order for these leaders to effectively manage their time and lead members of their organization, they need to maximize the use of the resources they have available. These resources include but are not limited do the tools found in the Microsoft 365 suite. These applications can help school leaders promote a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment.

Learning objectives

In this module, you will:

  • Identify ways Microsoft Tools can be used to streamline systems and structures for staff
  • Communicate quickly with staff using Microsoft Teams as the primary internal communication platform to minimize the Outlook inbox
  • Provide teachers with access to a PLC team that supports collaboration in a hybrid or blended environment
