Human Resources provides a self-service experience for managers and employees to access employee profiles, development, performance, and payroll details. Employees can also view time-off balances and submit leave requests in Microsoft Teams or within Finance and operations apps.

There are several workspaces within the Human resources functionality that enables users to be more efficient and access the tools they use based on their role within your organization.

For example, HR managers can use the Personnel management workspace, to view role-based tasks and employee data including candidates to hire, exiting employee information, new hire information and employees starting soon.

The Employee self-service workspace enables employees to complete HR tasks on their own from one page. From the Employee self-service workspace, you can complete performance review tasks, view upcoming courses assigned to you, review performance goals, update your personal information, manage time off, add skills, and track career progress.

The Manager self-service workspace helps simplify managers' jobs as well.

Managers can view a summary of their actions, submit employee requests, and view key information about their team.
