Delete volumes

As part of your initial testing of Azure Stack HCI volume management capabilities, you also want to validate that you can successfully delete volumes. You can simplify this task by using Windows Admin Center.

To delete a volume:

  1. Open Windows Admin Center, and then connect to a Storage Spaces Direct cluster.
  2. In the Tools pane, select Volumes.
  3. On the Volumes page, select the Inventory tab, and then select the volume you intend to delete.
  4. On the Volumes page toolbar, select Delete, and then when prompted to confirm this action, select Delete again.
