Scenario
After deploying Microsoft Viva Connections, your organization wants to extend it with information from internal data sources to keep employees informed. The leadership wants to share company announcements with employees. You've been asked to build a reusable widget that shows these announcements. Editors will place them on pages that support the Viva Connections desktop experience.
Prerequisites
- SharePoint administrator access to a Microsoft 365 tenant
- Viva Connections enabled in the Microsoft 365 tenant
- Ability to develop JavaScript applications by using modern web technologies
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript
- Code editor or IDE
- Node.js v14
