Modern employees need to constantly update their existing job skills or learn new skills to meet the ever-changing career landscape. You can find many free learning resources on the internet. Meanwhile, your organization may already have licenses with content providers or learning management systems. In addition, your organization may have allocated resources to building and hosting internal learning content.
While it's great to have numerous learning content to choose from, too many choices can be overwhelming, and hard to keep track of. As a manager, you may also find it challenging to keep track of your team members' learning status.
Viva Learning as part of the Microsoft Viva experience integrates learning content from all your learning sources in one place, right within the Teams app. It provides a gateway to curated cross-platform learning content. Employees and managers can discover, share, recommend and track their learning with Viva Learning. Viva Learning makes it easy for employees to find, consume, share, and recommend learning content.
Licensing
Your Microsoft 365 or Office 365 Enterprise subscription includes Viva Learning with basic features. However, you need a Viva Learning or Viva Suite license to access premium features.
