How do I join a Challenge?
Select the Challenge you want to participate in and register by selecting “Join the Challenge” once it starts. You will use your Microsoft Learn profile to register.
If you don't have a Microsoft Learn profile, that is okay. You can create one as you register.
How do I complete the Challenge?
To complete the Challenge, you need to finish the designated collection of Microsoft Learn content before the Challenge ends.
How can I tell if I've completed the Challenge?
The 'where you stand' section displays a fraction that equals 100% (for example, 8/8 or 20/20).
Do modules I've completed before the Challenge started count towards my score?
Yes, any modules in the collection that you've completed before the Challenge started will count towards your score.
How is the leaderboard calculated?
The leaderboard shows how many modules you have completed out of the total number of modules in the collection. The results are organized by the order of completion.
Will I receive a badge?
Yes - your Microsoft AI Skills Fest Challenge badge will be automatically assigned to your Microsoft Learn profile upon completion of the Challenge. The Challenge must be completed before its end date to earn the badge.
What if the leaderboard is not reflecting my progress?
Make sure you are logged in when completing your modules. The leaderboard and 'where you stand' sections may take a few hours to refresh.
How can I see all my active and past Challenges?
To view your Challenge activity from the past 30 days, please visit your Microsoft Learn profile. To see all your Challenges, go to the Challenges home page.
What should I do if I'm having an issue with a sandbox, knowledge check or loading/completing a module page?
For all issues with Microsoft Learn modules, please report your feedback on the Microsoft Learn troubleshooting page.
How do I qualify to enter the AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes for a 100% discount certification exam voucher?
To qualify for the AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes, you must (1) begin an AI Skills Fest Challenge by registering for one of the applicable Challenges, and (2) agree to terms by completing a submission to the sweepstakes entry form.
Entries are limited to one per participant. Beginning multiple AI Skills Fest Challenges and/or submitting multiple sweepstake entry forms does not result in more sweepstakes entries. For the full list of rules, refer to the AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes terms and conditions.
What certification exams do each technical Challenge help me prepare for?
The technical Challenges will help you prepare for a selection of certification exams. Ensure you review the full study guide for each as some may require additional learning:
- Create Agentic AI Solutions with Azure AI Foundry will position you to continue learning about generative AI and then take the AI-102 certification exam.
- Become a Certified Fabric Data Engineer will help you prepare for the DP-700 certification exam.
- Architecture Recipes for AI-Powered Applications will help you prepare for the AZ-204 certification exam.
- Migration essentials for Azure and AI Workloads will help you prepare for the AZ-900 certification exam.

When are winners drawn for the AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes?
There will be weekly drawings starting April 17th 2025 with the final drawing being on May 29th, 2025. Winners will be notified within seven (7) days of the drawings. Refer to section three (3), 'Prize Periods' , of the AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes terms and conditions.
How will I be notified if I am a winner of an AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes drawing?
Winners will be notified via an email sent to the email address they provided in their AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes form submission.
The email will be from 'MindhubPro by Pearson VUE' and will contain the 100% discount certification exam voucher won along with the expiration date and steps on how to redeem.
Emails will be sent within seven (7) days of the applicable Prize Period drawing.

How long does the AI Skills Fest Challenge run?
The Challenge runs from April 8, 2025 at 4:00 PM UTC (16:00) to May 29, 2025 at 6:59 AM UTC (06:59).
I am an AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes winner; how long do I have to redeem my prize?
All AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes 100% discount certification exam vouchers must be redeemed by June 21, 2025. This means you must schedule and take your chosen exam by June 21, 2025.
When using your voucher, you will not be able to use it for an exam date attempting to be scheduled for beyond June 21, 2025.

How do I redeem my 100% discount certification exam voucher?
Instructions on how to redeem your voucher have been provided in the email you received from 'MindhubPro by Pearson VUE' that contained your voucher code. You can additionally refer to the 'How to redeem your prize' section of this page.

Terms and Conditions
1. Sponsor
These Official Rules (“Rules”) govern the operation of the Microsoft AI Skills Fest Challenge Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”). Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA, 98052, USA, is the Sweepstakes sponsor (“Sponsor”).
2. Definitions
In these Rules, "Microsoft", "we", "our", and "us" refer to Sponsor and “you” and "yourself" refers to a Sweepstakes participant, or the parent/legal guardian of any Sweepstakes entrant who has not reached the age of majority to contractually obligate themselves in their legal place of residence. By entering you (your parent/legal guardian if you are not the age of majority in your legal place of residence) agree to be bound by these Rules.
3. Entry Period
The Sweepstakes starts at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on April 8, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on May 28, 2025 (“Entry Period”) and will consist of the following Prize Periods (each a “Prize Period”).
Entries will be eligible for the Prize Period in which they are received, and non-winning entries will be carried over to subsequent Prize Periods. Entrants only need to enter once to be included for all future prize periods, as non-winning entries are carried over to subsequent drawings.

4. Eligibility
To enter, you must be 18 years of age or older. If you are 18 years of age or older but have not reached the age of majority in your legal place of residence, then you must have consent of a parent/legal guardian.
Employees and directors of Microsoft Corporation and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, and Sweepstakes Parties are not eligible, nor are persons involved in the execution or administration of this promotion, or the family members of each above (parents, children, siblings, spouse/domestic partners, or individuals residing in the same household). Void in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Region of Crimea, Russia, and where prohibited.

You do not need to complete a challenge, but you must register for and start a Challenge. After participating in a challenge, visit https://aka.ms/aiskillsfest/challengesweepstakes to complete an official entry form. For doing this, you will receive one (1) entry into the corresponding weekly Prize Period drawing. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person overall.
Any attempt by you to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different accounts, identities, registrations, logins, or any other methods will void your entries and you may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited.
We are not responsible for excess, lost, late, or incomplete entries. If disputed, entries will be deemed submitted by the “authorized account holder” of the email address, social media account, or other method used to enter. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned to an email address by an internet or online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses.
6. Winner Selection and notification
Pending confirmation of eligibility, potential prize winners will be selected within seven (7) days following each Prize Period by Microsoft or their Agent in a random drawing from among all eligible entries as follows:

Winners will receive an email from 'MindhubPro by Pearson VUE' with a digital code to download their prize. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim a prize, the selected winner will forfeit their prize and an alternate winner will be selected time allowing. If you are a potential winner and you are 18 or older but have not reached the age of majority in your legal place of residence, we may require your parent/legal guardian to sign all required forms on your behalf. Only three alternate winners will be selected, after which unclaimed prizes will remain unawarded.
7. Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded:
Fifty Thousand (50,000) Grand Prizes. Each winner will receive a certification Exam Voucher. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) $100.00.
*Certification codes expire on 6/21/25 and exams must be booked and completed before this date.
The total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of all prizes: $5,000,000.

We will only award one (1) prize per person overall. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except that Microsoft reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the offered prize is unavailable. Microsoft products awarded as prizes are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose); you assume the entire risk of quality and performance, and should the prizes prove defective, you assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair. This is so even if the Microsoft product mentions a warranty on its packaging, in a manual, or in marketing materials; no warranty applies to Microsoft products awarded as prizes.
Microsoft does not give any warranty of any kind, express or implied (including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) on products made by a company other than Microsoft that are awarded as prizes. Please contact the manufacturer to see if it is covered by that company's warranty.
Prizes will be sent no later than 7 days after winner selection. Taxes on the prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who is advised to seek independent counsel regarding the tax implications of accepting a prize. By accepting a prize, you agree that Microsoft may use your entry, name, image and hometown online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with this Sweepstakes without payment or compensation to you, except where prohibited by law.
8. Odds
The odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received.
9. General Conditions and Release of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, by entering you agree to release and hold harmless Microsoft and its respective parents, partners, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, and agents from any and all liability or any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize won.
All local laws apply. The decisions of Microsoft are final and binding.
We reserve the right to cancel, change, or suspend this Sweepstakes for any reason, including cheating, technology failure, catastrophe, war, or any other unforeseen or unexpected event that affects the integrity of this Sweepstakes, whether human or mechanical. If the integrity of the Sweepstakes cannot be restored, we may select winners from among all eligible entries received before we had to cancel, change or suspend the Sweepstakes.
If you attempt or we have strong reason to believe that you have compromised the integrity or the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, creating a bot or other automated program, or by committing fraud in any way, we may seek damages from you to the full extent of the law and you may be banned from participation in future Microsoft promotions.
10. Use of Your Entry
Personal data you provide while entering this Sweepstakes will be used by Microsoft and/or its agents and prize fulfillers acting on Microsoft's behalf only for the administration and operation of this Sweepstakes and in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
11. Governing Law
This Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the State of Washington for any disputes arising out of this Sweepstakes.

Winners from each week's prize drawing will be added to the Microsoft AI Skills Fest Challenge Sweepstakes winners list at https://aka.ms/aiskillsfest/SweepstakesWinners within five (5) business days following each weekly drawing. How to redeem your prize
Congratulations on being a Microsoft AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes winner and receiving a 100% discount certification exam voucher! You will have received an email from 'MindhubPro by Pearson VUE' that contains your voucher code and expiration date.
You must schedule and take your chosen exam by June 21, 2025. You can review the Microsoft AI Skills Fest Challenge sweepstakes official rules for the full set terms and conditions.
Steps to Redeem
- Select one of the qualifying certification exams below.
- Review the exam details, scroll down and click the “Schedule through Pearson Vue” schedule exam button. Some exams may have two options. Make sure to select the Pearson Vue option.
- If you are not logged in to your Microsoft Learn profile, you will be asked to do so at this point. After doing so, you will be asked to provide additional information for transfer to Pearson Vue. Complete the form and be sure to provide the same contact email address in which you received your voucher code.
- You will be directed to Pearson Vue and prompted to select how you want to take your exam. Options may vary depending on which exam you have selected. Choose your preference and continue, noting that the voucher code you received is not a “Private Access Code”.
If you select “In person at a test center”, proceed to step 5.
If you select “OnVUE online with OnVUE”, proceed to step 6.
- If you have selected to take the exam in person, you will next be prompted to:
- Select your preferred exam language. Languages provided vary based on exam selected.
- Agree to Pearson VUE exam terms and Microsoft Certification terms.
- Select your preferred testing center.
Testing center options will vary based on your location.
- Select your preferred exam date and time.
Date and time selected must be before June 21, 2025 to use your voucher. If an exam date beyond June 21, 2025 is selected, you will not be able to apply the voucher to the cost of the exam.
- Next you will be asked to confirm your exam scheduled date and contact information. Review and proceed to checkout. It will still display the cost of the exam—this is expected, continue to proceed to checkout.
- In the next screen, you will see an option for Add Voucher or Promo Code. Enter the voucher code you received via email from 'MindhubPro by Pearson VUE'.
After entering the code, click 'Apply' to have it applied to the order, then select 'Next' to complete your transaction and schedule your exam!
