Collect logs from Windows App

This article shows you how to collect logs from Windows App that you can use to help troubleshoot issues.

Prerequisites

Before you can collect logs, you need:

  • Windows App installed on your local device, or access to Windows App in a web browser, with at least one device or app added. To learn more, see Get started with Windows App

Collect logs

Select a tab for the platform you're using.

Here's how to collect logs from Windows App for Windows:

  1. Make sure there aren't any connections to devices or apps.

  2. Make sure Windows App is closed.

  3. Open File Explorer on your local device and go to %temp%\DiagOutputDir\Windows365\Logs.

  4. Copy the files in the folder to a new folder. You can open the files in a text editor, or provide them to support.
