Deploy a virtual hard disk (VHDX) image
When you specify -VM
as the output type for your Factory OS image, the output will be a .vhdx file. You can use Hyper-V to build virtual machines that use these virtual hard disks.
When you're creating virtual machines for virtual hard disks that have been generated by the Windows System Kit, use the following guidelines:
- Generation-2 virtual machine
- Disable Secure boot
- Disable checkpoints
- Assign the at least the following virtual hardware, depending on the product you're using:
