ICertEncodeAltName::GetNameCount method (certenc.h)

The GetNameCount method returns the number of names in the alternate name array.

Syntax

HRESULT GetNameCount(
  [out] LONG *pNameCount
);

Parameters

[out] pNameCount

The number of alternate names in the array.

Return value

C++

If the method succeeds, the method returns S_OK.

If the method fails, it returns an HRESULT value that indicates the error. For a list of common error codes, see Common HRESULT Values.

The return value is the number of alternate names in the array.
