IShellFolderViewDual::PopupItemMenu method (shldisp.h)

Creates a shortcut menu for the specified item and returns the selected command string.

Syntax

HRESULT PopupItemMenu(
  [in, optional] FolderItem *pfi,
  [in, optional] VARIANT    vx,
  [in, optional] VARIANT    vy,
  [out]          BSTR       *pbs
);

Parameters

[in, optional] pfi

Type: FolderItem*

The FolderItem for which to create a shortcut menu.

[in, optional] vx

Type: VARIANT

Optional.

[in, optional] vy

Type: VARIANT

Optional.

[out] pbs

Type: BSTR*

The command string.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
