Guest users unable to accept invitation

Hi All

I am having an issue whereby if I invite a guest user (who is cloud-only in another tenant) to our tenant. I sent them the invitation URL (as they don't have a mailbox) and when they try to accept the invite, it says:

Sign in to invited account

You are currently signed in as EMAIL ADDRESS; however, SAME EMAIL ADDRESS was invited. Do you want to switch to SAME EMAIL ADDRESS?

The email address signed in is identical to the one it is asking to sign in with. If I click Switch Accounts, I get the following error:

Invitation redemption failed

An error has occurred. Please retry again shortly.

Any thoughts?

    Hi @!Daniel Bradley

    If the invited external guest user's email conflicts with an existing Contact object, the guest user may be created without a proxyAddress. This can prevent the guest user from redeeming an invitation through a direct link.
