The following code example demonstrates how to create a VisualStyleRenderer with the VisualStyleElement returned by the Hot property. To run this example, paste it into a Windows Form. Handle the form's Paint event and call the DrawVisualStyleElement_Button_DropDownButton2 method from the Paint event-handling method, passing e as PaintEventArgs.

Each property of the VisualStyleElement.ComboBox.DropDownButton class returns a VisualStyleElement for a different state of the drop-down arrow of the combo box control.

Hot	Gets a visual style element that represents a drop-down arrow in the hot state.
Normal	Gets a visual style element that represents a drop-down arrow in the normal state.
