Visual3D.AddVisual3DChild(Visual3D) Method

Definition

Defines the parent-child relationship between two 3-D visuals.

C#
protected void AddVisual3DChild(System.Windows.Media.Media3D.Visual3D child);

Parameters

child
Visual3D

The child 3-D visual object to add to the parent 3-D visual object.

Exceptions

The children collection cannot be modified when a visual children iteration is in progress.

Remarks

The AddVisual3DChild method is introduced in .NET Framework version 3.5. For more information, see Versions and Dependencies.

Notes to Inheritors

A class that derives from Visual3D must call this method to notify the Visual3D layer that a new child appeared in the children collection. The Visual3D layer then calls the GetVisual3DChild(Int32) method.
