Main account hacked and the support won't help. What can I do?
I want to keep this brief because I've been dealing with this for months. Please note that this is a different email address because my personal one was hacked and I couldn't use it again.
Apparently, on May 17th, my main Gmail account was hacked, and I found out days later when I tried to use the Microsoft Store. That day, I received a message on my cell phone from Microsoft saying: "(my cell phone number)* removed from Microsoft account gl9@se***.ru. Wasn't you?" followed by the link aka.ms/alca, which doesn't work because it asks me to log in, which is obviously impossible since they changed the password.
Well, when I tried to recover my account for the first time, the only response was to send me a form to fill out, which I had no idea how to do because it was a strange email with no instructions, and the support member ended the chat without even explaining.
I clearly have the most obvious information, and it makes sense that the account belongs to me. Because I'd like the geniuses at Microsoft to answer me: what would be the point of changing my account's original phone number, password and email to a russian one?
Anyway, the form didn't seem to get a response. I contacted support, and it seems they either couldn't or wouldn't help me, because that's what I've been reading in other forums and Reddit communities.
I also have my card details, which I used to make purchases, and which even matches the account name, photos of my ID; a lot of things that validate my identity. It's a shame that microsoft could not try to fix their costumers issues.
