Valor de propiedad

Int64

Número de bytes de datos que se van a enviar al recurso de Internet. El valor predeterminado es -1, que indica que no se ha establecido la propiedad y que no hay datos de solicitud que enviar.

InvalidOperationException

La solicitud se ha iniciado llamando al método GetRequestStream(), BeginGetRequestStream(AsyncCallback, Object), GetResponse()o BeginGetResponse(AsyncCallback, Object) .

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

El nuevo valor de ContentLength es menor que 0.

Comentarios

Cautela

WebRequest, HttpWebRequest, ServicePointy WebClient están obsoletos y no debe usarlos para el nuevo desarrollo. Use HttpClient en su lugar.

La propiedad ContentLength contiene el valor que se va a enviar como encabezado HTTP Content-length con la solicitud.

Cualquier valor distinto de -1 de la propiedad ContentLength indica que la solicitud carga datos y que solo se permiten establecer métodos que cargan datos en la propiedad Method.

Después de establecer la propiedad ContentLength en un valor, ese número de bytes debe escribirse en el flujo de solicitud que se devuelve llamando al método GetRequestStream o a los métodos BeginGetRequestStream y EndGetRequestStream.

Nota

El valor de esta propiedad se almacena en WebHeaderCollection. Si se establece WebHeaderCollection, se pierde el valor de la propiedad.
