Obtiene o establece un valor que indica si el objeto XmlReader realizará la validación o la asignación de tipos al leer.

Valor de propiedad

ValidationType

Uno de los valores de ValidationType que indica si XmlReader realizará la validación o la asignación de tipos al leer. De manera predeterminada, es ValidationType.None.

Nota

Los Auto valores de enumeración y XDR están obsoletos en .NET Framework versión 2.0.

ValidationType Descripción
DTD La validación se realiza mediante una definición de tipo de documento (DTD). Nota: La DtdProcessing propiedad también debe establecerse en Parse.
None XmlReader no valida los datos ni realiza ninguna asignación de tipos.
Schema La validación y la asignación de tipos se realizan mediante un esquema del lenguaje de definición de esquemas XML (XSD). El lector accede al esquema XML mediante lo siguiente:

- Utiliza la Schemas propiedad para tener acceso al XmlSchemaSet objeto asociado a este lector.
: usa el esquema en línea incluido en el documento de instancia XML. (La ProcessInlineSchema opción debe estar habilitada).
: usa el esquema XML especificado por las sugerencias de ubicación del esquema (xsi:schemaLocation o xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation atributo) que se encuentran en el documento de instancia XML. (La ProcessSchemaLocation opción debe estar habilitada).
