Get the most value from your inventory by substituting components in a bill of materials based on availability.

Feature details

Specify substitute components by priority for the main component on a bill of materials. The system uses these substitutes when the main component isn't available in inventory to fulfill the order.

When you run master planning, the system automatically uses the substitute component that's available in inventory. It follows the priority order in the plan group where you can specify which component to substitute.

This feature is available for Planning Optimization.
