Add (or Edit) NWLink IPX/SPX Library Configuration (Service Name)

This section shows the options and their functions available in the Add (or Edit) Network Library Configuration dialog box for NWLink IPX/SPX.

Option	Description
Server alias	Specify a unique name for the server running an instance of Microsoft SQL Server that listens on the NWLink IPX/SPX network library.
Network libraries	Specify the network library that will be used to connect to the server. NWLink IPX/SPX is selected.
Specify parameters by	Indicate how parameters are specified. Service name is selected.
Service name	Specify the computer name under which an instance of SQL Server is running. This information is stored in the bindery of the server.
