Comentarios

Cautela

WebRequest, HttpWebRequest, ServicePointy WebClient están obsoletos y no debe usarlos para el nuevo desarrollo. Use HttpClient en su lugar.

Si el encabezado If-Modified-Since es null, el valor devuelto se establecerá en DateTime.MinValue.

La propiedad IfModifiedSince es un objeto System.DateTime estándar y puede contener un campo System.DateTimeKind de DateTimeKind.Local, DateTimeKind.Utco DateTimeKind.Unspecified. Se puede establecer cualquier tipo de tiempo al usar la propiedad IfModifiedSince. Si DateTimeKind.Unspecified se establece o recupera, se supone que la propiedad IfModifiedSince es DateTimeKind.Local (hora local).

Las clases del espacio de nombres System.Net siempre lo escriben en la propiedad IfModifiedSince en la conexión durante la transmisión en formato estándar mediante el formato GMT (Utc).

Si la propiedad IfModifiedSince está establecida en DateTime.MinValue, el encabezado HTTP de If-Modified-Since se quita de la propiedad Headers y el WebHeaderCollection.

Si la propiedad IfModifiedSince es DateTime.MinValue, esto indica que el encabezado HTTP If-Modified-Since no se incluye en la propiedad Headers y el WebHeaderCollection.

Nota

El valor de esta propiedad se almacena en WebHeaderCollection. Si se establece WebHeaderCollection, se pierde el valor de la propiedad.

Si se establece la propiedad IfModifiedSince y se devuelve el código de estado 304 (no modificado), BeginGetResponselos métodos GetResponsey EndGetResponse producirán un System.Net.WebException.
