Caution

This API supports obsolete formatter-based serialization. It should not be called or extended by application code.

Populates a SerializationInfo with the data necessary to deserialize the field represented by the current instance.

Parameters

SerializationInfo

The SerializationInfo object to populate with serialization information.

context
StreamingContext

(Reserved) The place to store and retrieve serialized data.

The Value property of the current instance is not a valid handle.

Remarks

The context parameter is reserved; it does not currently participate in this operation.
