Azure DDoS Protection does not block or detect an attack

My virtual server at Azure is under DNS DDoS attack. I have bought the DDoS Standard and enabled it on VNET-level one week ago. If I check the IP, there is an green indicator for DDoS protection enabled.

I have had several attacks this weeks but DDoS has not triggered any alerts and does not show I'm under attack.

Have I left something unconfigured or has the service still on learning mode after one week?
