Hi Matti_Mz, glad to help!
Windows Update failure of Realtek driver extension
Windows update problem.
Windows Update shows that in Realtek Extension 6.0.9468.1 is an update installation error. (Pic 1). Windows update fails every time and I can't take those failuring updates away. The update history (Pic 2) shows, that update is installed OK and then again missed. In operating panel the actual driver is just the mentioned 6.0.4.9468.1 (Pic 3). Anyway there are no problems with sounds.
The Windows Update fault search does'nt help. All other updates are OK. How can I take away those failuring driver updates from Windows Update?
The computer is Hp desktop, Win 11 pro 64 bit.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Your Realtek Audio is working correctly, you do not actually need that driver update, try removing it with the Microsoft Show/Hide Tool so Windows does not continually try to install that driver.
Hi Dave,
Thank you for the quick answer. I did try yesterday on 9th April the Show/Hide but its did'nt do anything. Also I tried in Windows Update to "Try again" Realtek-driver- no success.
But today on 10th when Windows updated the Defender, those Realtek driver update-asks also went away.
So a little bit confused way now is everything OK.
This case is solved and it can be closed.
